Representatives from the 12 CM student clubs plus members of the CM Board of Directors, which serves as the student club umbrella organization, gathered in the Industrial Sciences Lab this past Tuesday evening. They were there to talk with interested students about the role of the clubs and how students could get involved. The clubs represent various industry sectors and provide several valuable services to their members. They offer the opportunity to gain industry specific exposure through club-sponsored activities and mentorship. They help keep members informed of current developments in the sector. Finally, they promote professionalism and engagement within the student body. The strong attendance at the event demonstrates the recognition among CM students of the value gained from active engagement in their education and career interests.
