Natalya was preceded in death by her late fiance, James Deeds of Arvada, Colorado, and her grandparents Larry and Sue Weisgerber of Arvada, Colorado, as well as many other extended relatives who she loved dearly.
Natalya was born on Nov. 25, 1982, in Aurora, Colorado. She graduated from Arvada High School in 2001 as valedictorian and from Colorado State University in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in History. She continued her life at CSU in Fort Collins as an employee, where she worked for 11 years and received university honors for her work in the Department of Construction Management. Natalya and Matthew wed on May 11, 2013, in Cheyenne, Wyoming. They were expecting to welcome their first child into this world on Jan. 11, 2016.
Natalya was an avid cross-stitcher. She received many county fair ribbons for her pieces and shared her art freely with those she cared for. Natalya was also an avid lover of nature and felt most at peace in the mountains, surrounded by those who cared for her. She also had a strong passion for music and performed in formal choirs throughout high school and college.
Natalya had an infectious smile and laughter that will be sorely missed. Her services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 17, at the Arvada Center for Arts and Humanities, 6901 Wadsworth Blvd., Arvada, Colorado. All are welcome to attend to support the grieving family and friends of Natalya and Serenity. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the charity closest to Natalya's heart, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
