Dawoud Family Project - Modifications to the home of Levi (8) who has autism, to make the home more sensory-friendly, safe and durable.
Salem Family Project - Construct a deck and make accessibility modifications to the home of a family of nine with six disabled children.
Schneider Project - A small addition to the home of Linda and Chuck Schneider with an accessible bathroom and safe access outside.
Zamora Project - Modifications to create an ADA compliant bathroom and wheelchair access to the backyard in the home of Ernie and Sharon Zamora.
Anthony Project - Spring 2015. Modifications to create an ADA compliant bathroom in the home of a 15-year-old boy with Duchene Muscular Dystrophy. Located in Roggen, Colorado.
Max Project - Spring 2015. ADA-compliant upgrades to the bathroom used in the daily care of a homebound 8-year-old boy unable to walk or care for himself. Located in Eaton, Colorado.
Grashorn Family Project - Spring 2014. Addition of a wheelchair accessible entrance into the home with an outdoor shade structure in the backyard to allow all family members to be together, including Gavin, who is unable to sit or walk on his own but wants to be outside with his little brother, Jameson.
SAVA Project - Spring 2014. Non-profit organization that provides comprehensive services for sexual assault victims will receive a wheelchair accessible entrance and ADA-approved bathroom to meet the needs of clients.
Walter Family Project - Spring 2014. Home modifications to improve accessibility, including bathroom handrails, a bay window with rollout garden boxes, new driveway, and a wheelchair ramp into the backyard to allow Chris to continue his passion for gardening.
AJ Project - Spring 2013. Expanded and modified bathroom to meet ADA guidelines for a nine-year-old boy with limited mobility
Brinks Family Project - Spring 2013. Bedroom modifications of secured built-ins, media and interactive sensory items, as well as fencing to secure the backyard, in the home of a single mother of three whose teenage autistic son was in need of these improvements
James and Libby Project - Spring 2013. Wheelchair access to the backyard with home modifications to improve mobility for James and Libby, 11-year-old twins with Cerebral Palsy
Bennett Elementary – Spring 2012. Service learning course students worked with alternative high school students to apply sustainable practices to build music stands for Bennett Elementary
Collin’s Project - Spring 2012. Assisted an elderly woman, first time homeowner, with repair of her covered porch that did not meet code requirements
Crossroads Safehouse - Spring 2012. Built a stairwell enclosure for domestic violence shelter
Kennedy Project - Spring 2012. Assisted a 5-year-old boy who has severe epilepsy and his family in Fort Collins with a ramp to their home and assistive step stools
Nick Project - Spring 2012. Assisted a 17-year-old boy who has Coraelia de Lange Syndrome and his family in Loveland with a ramp to their home and widening of driveway for easier access
Noah’s Project - Spring 2011. Assisted a young boy with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) and his family in Ft. Collins - Project involved site survey, planning, design, permits, utility locates, HOA approvals, construction of a bedroom addition, handicapped accessible restroom, and care giver bed area adjacent to bedroom.
Amaro Project - Spring 2011. Involved completion of a two bedroom addition for a grandmother who is raising 4 kids (two who are special needs).
Bennett Elementary School , Poudre Valley School District - Spring 2011. Project involved the design of a greenhouse for the school and its community.
Save our Youth - Spring 2011. Project involved demolition of a wall dividing offices from an open area in the lower level of the corporate offices. Also included new partitions walls, interior windows, minor electrical, permits, plans and specifications.
Alternatives Pregnancy Centers - Spring 2011. Project involved design and construction of a remodeled client bathroom. Design and construction of a base cabinet in their conference room. Design and construction of a wall closure feature at a staff person’s office.
